Nirav Sheth
Dr. Nirav Sheth is a practicing cardiologist for the last 23 years.
After completing his graduate medical education in India at University of Bombay with distinction, he traveled to Long Island New York to pursue postgraduate education in 1996. After completing 6 years of postgraduate education, he moved with family to South WIndsor CT in 2002 which had been hometown since.
For the last 18 years he has been practicing in Holyoke Massachusetts and was instrumental in starting the cardiovascular service line at Holyoke Medical Center.
Giving back to the community had been a life long passion project for him and has led to establishing the Grateful Acts Project.
Besides practicing medicine and participating in philanthropy, he enjoys to spend time with family and friends, travel, hike, play golf and read.
Savita Sheth
Dr. Savita Sheth works currently as a Hospitalist at Hartford Hospital. After completing her medical education in India and receiving her medical degree from University of Bombay, she moved to Long Island in 1997, where she pursued her post graduation in the field Internal Medicine and then receiving her board certification. She then moved to South Windsor CT in 2002 and took time off from her career to take care of their 2 young boys.
She eventually returned back to the medical profession practicing as a Hospitalist first at Manchester Memorial Hospital and then most recently at Hartford Hospital. During the peak of COVID pandemic she continued to work tirelessly taking care of hospitalized patient. She was thus recognized for her heroic work by the town and the hospital.
In her free time, Savita enjoys spending time with friends and family. She especially enjoys time traveling and time spent with nature- walking and hiking.
She is passionate about giving back to the society and enjoys volunteering her time and energy to causes dear to her heart. It is this bent of mind which has led her to become a part of the Grateful Acts Project.
Rachana Sampat
Rachana is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Atos North America. She has extensive experience in leading HR activities in large-scale transformations, mergers, and acquisitions in a global environment.
Rachana has a strong background in human capital management, strategic business advising, talent acquisition, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, leadership development, and compliance with labor laws.
In addition to professional achievements, Rachana is actively involved in community service. Since 2018, Rachana has been the Co-Chair of the West Hartford Scholarship Fund, an organization that provides scholarships to deserving high school students. She is also on the Advisory Board of the Women in Leadership Program at Houston Christian University.
Rachana has also founded and chaired the STEM Club of a local elementary school. She continues to actively volunteer at the free medical camps conducted by the local Hindu Temple, as well as the food bank of the Chrysalis Center.
Ojas Sampat
Ojas is a Vice President at Cigna, having joined the company in 2011. He leads the Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, and Third-Party Management teams that support Cigna's Technology and Enterprise Operations functions.
In addition, he is responsible for developing and managing third-party partnerships that advance Artificial Intelligence initiatives and heads Cigna's Digital Procurement and Buying Channel Operations.
Prior to his tenure at Cigna, Ojas accumulated experience in sales, account management, service delivery, and solution development at consulting firms including Infosys, and Accenture.
Ojas holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Bombay.
